Beverly Depot

The Beverly Depot

My husband and I had a lovely date night with some friends at the Beverly Depot.  This is a little hidden gem in the small North Shore town of Beverly Mass.  This fine dining restaurant is located right on the tracks of the commuter rail from Boston knowns as the “T”.   At first glance, it is an unassuming building that looks old but yet fits sitting next to the well-worn tracks.

Inside you are greeted with original fixtures where upscale meets old charm.  The tables are clustered together in the grand room.  A large fireplace mantel sits at the far wall.

Their menu is limited but they boast to having the best steaks and seafood around!  Along with the main dish you are invited to partake of an amazing salad bar.  At the salad bar, there is also a bread and cheese station.  The only word to describe it is fresh!  Excellent selection to satisfy every craving!

Our meal was delicious and the servings were large.  I actually took half my meal home.  The service was excellent but sadly we did not have room to try desserts.

The next time you are in Boston hop on the “T” and enjoy a lovely dinner at the Beverly Depot.  It took us an hour and a half to get there by car but it was worth it!

You can find more information about them on their webpage by clicking here.
