It seems the dynamic of education has changed for the foreseeable future.  Here is a list of resources for online field trips and activities beyond your normal gaming.

Museums and Parks 

Boston Children’s Museum

Boston Children’s Museum is the second oldest, and one of the most influential children’s museums in the world. It was founded in 1913 by the Science Teachers’ Bureau, a group of visionary educators dedicated to providing new resources for both teachers and students.

Yellow Stone National Park

Ready to explore Yellowstone? You don’t have to wait for your trip out here. You can start exploring now by virtually touring some of the main attractions around the park. Included with each tour is additional information about visiting in person.

British Museum, London

The British Museum is unique in bringing together under one roof the cultures of the world, spanning continents and oceans. No other museum is responsible for collections of the same depth and breadth, beauty and significance.

Pergamon Museum, Berlin

This is one of Germany’s largest museums.  This historical museum is home to plenty of ancient artifacts including the Ishtar Gate of Babylon and, of course, the Pergamon Altar.

Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam

Using Google Street View Explore the masterworks from the Dutch Golden Age, including works from Vermeer and Rembrandt.

Animal Cam’s

San Diego Zoo

Every animal from the koala to the elephants.  The San Diego zoo has animal cams in many of their exhibits.  See what the animals do on a daily basis!

Zoo Atlanta

Get up close and personal as you watch real pandas on the zoo’s Panda Cam.

Georgia Aquarium

See all kinds of ocean animals up close!  Underwater views of beluga whales, sea lions, piranhas, and even jellyfish!   Scroll down to see your many options!

Houston Zoo

For another zoo animal options check these out.  Gorillas to Rhinos.   They have 6 animal cams to keep an eye on your favorite creature!
