Wedding gifts from the heart…

Snow is melting. People are shedding sweaters. Spring is in the air. You know what that means…WEDDING SEASON!
Many people will register and that is great. I registered and received some wonderful items. I must admit one of my favorite things received was a Bobby Flay cooking set. I LOVE IT!!!!

However, if you are the type of person that likes to go your own path here is a list of personalized wedding gifts sure to warm any home and make any bride and groom smile! For more information on each item simply click on the picture.
I actually have something similar to this in my entryway. As a beach lover, it welcomes people into my home and is a lovely piece for my wall.

This is a well made, lovely cutting board. I am sure over time it will have knicks and cuts and punctures but that would only add to the story of cooking and preparing meals.

Don’t forget Christmas. A personalized Christmas ornament that can be hung on the tree year after year. A memory they will unpack each holiday season and remember their vows and the promises made on that day. You can even get something like an engagement christmas ornament, so having one for both events would be really heart-touching.

A personalized picture frame. Capture a memory and keep it forever in a frame. I have pictures in my home that I trade out with the seasons. However, I do have a few pieces that stay up all year long. We have a frame similar to this one and it is an all year frame. Little things like this make a house a home. If your significant other is particularly crafty, you could take it a step further and get a personalized diamond painting of you both.

Personalized beach towels. A creative take on giving towels. Even if you live in a city far away from water there are always those pool parties and backyard gatherings. A personalized towel makes a statement! Get one for the bride and groom!

Everyone has a door. It could be at the end of an apartment hallway or at the end of a street. Give them some style to great any guests that may come to visit. They come in many styles, find one that matches the personalities of the couple.

Give them a place to store their memories. This is an excellent gift. A book for them to write in year after year. They will be able to look back at their love story as it unfolds with each anniversary. Can you imagine what a keepsake this would be?

Give them a reason to hit the road. A picnic basket that will prompt picnics in the park. An unexplored hiking trail. A day in the city. I have a picnic basket and we use it on day outings. Now that we have a little girl it makes it all the more fun!

Much like the anniversary book, this book focuses on the honeymoon. A place to record the trip and all the exciting events from that trip. This would be a neat book to wander back to year after year.

Of course, a gift card is always nice! Can’t think of anything else….let them decide for themselves!

What was your favorite wedding present? Anything you received that you were not sure what to do with?

  2. I really like many of these ideas. Personalized gifts are my favorite.

  3. Some lovely suggestions here. Personalised presents are the best. I make our friends and family framed prints of their wedding details and put in some wedding confetti from the day. #dreamteam

  4. I love many of these ideas! I am so glad you stopped at my site as I will be sure to come back to these suggestions soon 🙂

  5. I like the anniversary book. In this day and age we don’t print our photos and things as often as we used to so this would remind you to do so. #BloggerclubUK

  6. I adore the cutting board! I always try to get practical gifts that can be used for years over decor items.
    Fabulous list!

I agree. Decor fads come and go. Thanks for stopping by.

  7. i love the cutting board, sadly these days couples getting married just ask for cash, which i find quite disappointing

I get the need for cash…I find most want to use it for some fancy get away. I did not go into debt for my wedding. We spent a few days away but it was what we could afford. It is not a good idea to start your life together in debt if you don’t get enough cash to cover your cost. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. I love the cutting board, such a fab idea! Thanks so much for sharing with #Blogstravaganza xx

  9. Some nice gifts there – we have 4 weddings to go to this year so need some inspiration! #Blogstravaganza

  10. These all look like lovely gifts! The picnic set is a romantic one… and I love the idea of the anniversary book. One of my favourite gifts that we got was a bread maker ? Thanks for joining us for the #dreamteam xx

Great gifts , but i think what most newly wed’s would like most at the start of their new life together is instead of gifts, hard cash . Helps to start new life much more then gifts
