It is that time again. Time to pick fresh strawberries. I had the privilege of going to pick fresh strawberries with my mom early one morning. The fields were alive with green and spots of red. There is nothing in the world like a strawberry warm from the morning summer sun! You pick it and eat it right off the branch. That is summer in New England!
Our local favorite spot to pick is Apple Hill Farm. It is a small family owned farm with wonderful fields of strawberries, apples, blueberries and various garden items. The owners, Chuck and Dianne Souther take pride in their farm.

I would encourage you to get out and eat fresh, support local and enjoy the bounty that the earth provides during the summer months!
