Remember after most storms in life you are given a rainbow. My life was not so much a storm as a long rain shower. I decided early on I would rather be alone for the right reasons than with someone for the wrong ones. That left me with many solo years. I met my husband when I was 42 and we married at 45. Adopted our Little girl this past year…she is 7. I spent my 20’s and 30’s watching everyone in the world…or so it seemed…get married or celebrate having a baby. I knew God had different plans and that was ok. Enter Katy who introduced me to my husband. A blind date that lead to the altar. As I look back on my LONG rain shower I realize it was not a storm but a time to prepare, to grow and to wait. I was given a giant rainbow in my life. The treasure at the end of that rainbow is Husband and Little Girl. I would not trade either for anything nor the journey it took to find them!
The loves of my life! The reason I am. Love you both!!!

Oh how beautiful, a very happy ending
Really beautiful. A lovely long rainbow indeed. Having time to grow is so important! #bloggerclubuk
It always warms my heart to look back and think I felt miserable for a certain time, but I was really just having some down time before I saw the magic that was waiting for me! What a nice sentimental thought to pull through the rest of the week!

Life is certainly a roller coaster for sure. I’m pleased to hear that you feel that you have been blessed by the presence of these people. #ablogginggoodtime
Thank you for sharing! An encouragement to wait and you will see the glory of God!
Aw, what a sweet tribute to them both. Life always has a way of working out.
Aw that is so romantic! It may be better to wait until you feel sure, rather than get married and then end up divorced for so many reasons, if it can be avoided. I’m glad you were able to have hopes and dreams fulfilled!
